Where Therapy Meets Education
Carolina Therapeutics Academy (CTA) serves children who have a variety of special needs, including but not limited to developmental delays, various syndromes, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Our Preschool
Open Monday through Friday, our half-day therapeutic preschool engages children ages 2 to 6 with special needs. Between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. daily, students participate in individualized academic and therapeutic activities – all provided by passionate educators, licensed clinical therapists, and registered behavior technicians (RBTs).
Therapeutic services include:
- ABA Therapy (ABA)
- Speech Therapy (ST)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Physical Therapy (PT)
Qualifiers for CTA Preschool Enrollment
To qualify for Preschool enrollment, children must be:
- 6 years of age or younger by September 1 of any given school year
- Eligible for and receiving at least two therapy services from Carolina Therapeutics (CT)
- Approved for enrollment through CT pre-screening evaluation and assessment
- Enrolled with an approved homeschool association if over the age of 6 after September 1
After-School Therapy
Carolina Therapeutics offers on-site daily therapeutic clinical services to ages 2 to 12 with special needs between 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Clients do not have to be enrolled in our Preschool to attend our After-School Therapy Program.
Therapeutic services include:
- ABA Therapy (ABA)
- Speech Therapy (ST)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Physical Therapy (PT)
Qualifiers for After-School Therapy
To qualify for After-School Therapy, children must be:
- Eligible for therapy services from Carolina Therapeutics (CT)
- Approved for attendance through CT pre-screening evaluation and assessment
