Tawana Fowler

Preschool Teacher

Tawana is from New York, New York, but her family moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, many years ago. She attended Shaw University in Raleigh as well as Wake Technical Community College to earn her credentials in early childhood education.

Tawana’s family is her world. She has three children of her own, as well as a grandson!

Tawana has been an educator for over twenty years, most recently as a Lead Head Start teacher. Her passion for helping children learn is unmatched, as she believes it is imperative to get to know a child and understand them in order to make a positive impact in their lives.

Tawana knows that children are our future and believes it’s our job to educate them in a positive way!
